Health, wellbeing and engagement with landscape
SAC has recently commissioned a review of research and policy relating to health, wellbeing and engagement with landscape. The review, undertaken by Dr. Stuart Muirhead of the University of Dundee, found a range of evidence to suggest links between these factors, and an increasing turn in policy toward acknowledging this. It demonstrated this with reference to case studies of the Forestry Commission Scotland, environmental volunteering, and care farming.
